Let the California breeze sweep through your hair at the legendary Santa Barbara Bowl on Saturday, November 15, 2014 while admiring the sounds of Foster The People. All the details you need to know about the event are listed below, and reading through it ahead of time will help ensure a great concert experience.
Santa Barbara Bowl Seating Information
The Santa Barbara Bowl is a completely outdoor venue with elevated seating throughout so fans in the back can see just as well as the ones in the front. The front portion of the Santa Barbara Bowl can either be made into a general admission pit or several reserved seating sections. In the event that it is reserved seating, it will be labeled T, U, and V from right to left. The front is followed by sections P, R, and S before sections J-O located slightly behind that. The back of the venue is made up of sections A-I and is divided into groups of three with the start of the alphabet closest to the back. G-I is the first of the sections, followed by D-F and then A-C as the last seating in the venue.
Santa Barbara Bowl General Information
Due to safety concerns and to ensure that everyone at the venue has a good time, the following items will be prohibited: backpacks, large bags, picnic baskets, coolers, bottles, cans, weapons, glow sticks, umbrellas, strollers, banners, and signs. Audio and video recording will not be permitted, and whether photography will be allowed depends on the artist's preference. All concerts are held rain or shine.
Santa Barbara Bowl Parking Information
Parking for guests is available for a small fee at Santa Barbara High School, which is located a mere 200 yards from the concert venue. Due to the masses of people usually expected at the Santa Barbara Bowl, it is recommended to arrive at least 90 minutes prior to the show to guarantee ease of entry into the lot. The Santa Barbara Bowl also offers "Dine and Ride," a special experience that includes dinner and transportation to and from the venue.
Santa Barbara Bowl Gate Times
The gates generally open 1-2 hours prior to an event's listed start time.
Santa Barbara Bowl Accessibility
Santa Barbara Bowl staff will do its best to accommodate everyone with special ADA accommodation needs, including parking and seating. Although there is plenty of accessible parking onsite, spaces generally tend to sell out prior to the event. If this is the case, a shuttle will be available to take guests to the concert from the Box Office. Contact the venue prior to attending the concert for further details about ADA accessibility on the premises.
