Fourplay Background Information
Fourplay is an American smooth jazz group. They released their first album in 1991. Originally, the band consisted of Lee Ritenour (guitars), Bob James (keyboards), Nathan East (bass), and Harvey Mason (drums). However, in 1998, Lee Ritenour left the band and chose Larry Carlton to be his replacement.
In August 2006, the band went on tour in Asia. It proved to be an outstanding success for the band, with enthusiastically sold-out concerts in Seoul, Taipei, Hong Kong, and Kuala Lumpur. The following month, the band’s new album “X” rose to no.
