Frankie Valli

Starting his career as a solo singer, Valli joined The Variatones in 1954. The Variatones later changed their name to the Four Lovers and then again to the Four Seasons after the changing of many original members. Although working as a lead singer with this group Frankie maintained his solo career and his first song "You're Gonna Hurt Yourself" became a huge hit in late 1965. In 1967 he scored a hit with "Can't Take My Eyes off You" by selling over one million records.

Frankie's meeting with producer Bob Crew in New York was immediately turned into a partnership. Both of them used to combine their individual earnings and then would split them amongst the two of them. As the Seasons' career developed, rumors started about Frankie parting the group to pursue his solo career more. Frankie eventually did go solo in 1977 and the Seasons remained together as a group. In 1990 Frankie subsequently rejoined the Four Seasons and continued to lead the group for the next decade. Frankie is still going strong and has achieved nothing less than what he deserved.
