The inaugural Funshine Music Festival is set to take over Tampa Bay, and by the looks of all that’s in store, this could very well be one of the finest festivals to drop on the scene in years. The festival is set take place from May 3rd to May 5th at Live Nation Amphitheatre at Florida State Fairgrounds, and over 30 phenomenal performers will grace the area’s six stages. For three fantastic days, fans who come out will witness incredible acts like Smashing Pumpkins, Cheap Trick, REO Speedwagon, Gary Allan, Styx, Train, and New Found Glory live on stage. And in addition to the music, the fair grounds will be in full swing. More than 60 thrill rides, including the Roller Coaster, Giant Slide, Ferris Wheel, helicopter ride, sky ride, and zip lines, will be open, and there will be a Silent Disco, as well as camping.
