American country musician, performer, and songwriter Hal Ketchum started his recording career in the ‘80s. Not until the singer’s 1991 contract with Curb Records did he have a major hit with the release Past The Point Of Rescue. Three singles from this album became Top 3 singles, including the songs "Small Town Saturday Night" and "Sure Love".
Hal Ketchum was touring Britain, when he released the single "Past The Point Of Rescue" on the other side of the Atlantic. The song failed to reach the UK Top 100 pop charts, however it received extensive airplay on the US country radio stations. The recording Every Little Word made it to the Top 40 on the United Kingdom country charts and did the same back in the United States.
The performer continues to record and release new Songs. Hal Ketchum had a small role in the 1994 film Maverick.
