About Hilary Duff

Duff was born in Houston, Texas (1987). She was the 2nd child of Robert Erhard Duff, who was the proprietor of a chain store, and Susan Colleen Cobb, a housekeeper. Duff's mother persuaded the girl to enroll for an acting class together with her elder sister, Haylie Katherine Duff. The two girls received parts in various local theatrical performances. When Hilary was six years old, the Duff sisters took part in the ballet The Nutcracker Suite together with Columbus Ballet Met in San Antonio, for which all the tickets were sold. Other important films in the career of a young actress include The Soul Collector in 1999, Human Nature in 2001, Cadet Kelly in 2002, Agent Cody Banks in 2003, Raise Your Voice and In Search of Santa in 2004, The Perfect Man in 2005, Material Girls in 2006.

Duff started going out with the singer Aaron Carter (younger brother of Nick from Backstreet Boys) in 2002. They got to know each other while shooting Lizzie McGuire. Carter had previously received a small role in a Christmas episode. Their relationships lasted for a year and six months. Carter left the actress Lindsay Lohan for Duff. Aaron admitted that he cheated on Hilary with one of her friends, that Duff was very upset and down.

Duff is currently dating the singer Joel Madden from the Good Charlotte and Duff's mother told about their relationships in the an interview for the Seventeen magazine. In an interview for ELLE, it was written that virginity was definitely something she liked about herself.
