The first of several superstars set to appear is Toby Keith, who will kick things off on Monday, Feb. 25, and in the following weeks, fans can look forward to performances by Gary Allan (Feb. 26), Alan Jackson (Feb. 27), Zac Brown Band (Feb. 28), Mary J. Blige (March 1), Brantley Gilbert (March 2), Demi Lovato (March 3), Austin Mahone (March 3), Styx (March 4), Lady Antebellum (March 5), Dierks Bentley (March 6), Bruno Mars (March 7), Tim McGraw (March 8), The Band Perry (March 9), Julion Alvarez (March 10), Los Invasores de Nuevo Leon (March 10), Jason Aldean (March 11), Kenny Chesney (March 12), Jake Owen (March 13), Pitbull (March 14), Blake Shelton (March 15), and Luke Bryan (March 16). The grand finale on Sunday, March 17, will feature George Strait, Martina McBride, and the Randy Rogers Band.
The Houston Rodeo is already making plans for next year after the twenty day event concluded last spring. The annual entertainment extravaganza in Houston is coming off another record setting year, attracting 2,262,834 patrons to Reliant Stadium and the surrounding grounds. 2012 Houston Rodeo tickets are slotted to go on sale on January 14th. Last year, guests from sixty-one nations around the world visited the rodeo to see headlining acts perform, cheer on rodeo cowboys, and dine on turkey legs and funnel cakes.
