The Allentown Fairgrounds are home to the Great Allentown Fair, which draws many popular artists to town like Hunter Hayes on 8/30/14. If you are planning on catching a concert while at the fair, browse through the following details before you head to the festival.
Allentown Fairgrounds Seating Information
Seating arrangements can be changed due to each artist's preference. The area closest to the stage can be made into general admission standing room only ticketing, or transformed into reserved seating in sections A-E with smaller general admission sections on each side. Either way, the front portion of seating is not under any cover and is open to the elements. Seating at the back of the venue is completely under a roof, and runs from section 101-121 for the reserved seating, with additional general admission seating in section 122.
Allentown Fairgrounds General Information
Grandstand tickets are completely separate from purchasing entry to the fair, so anyone attending a concert will need to buy both. The following items will not be allowed anywhere on the grounds: glass, cans, plastic bottles, backpacks, and recording devices. Filming and audio recording are strictly prohibited at the Allentown Fairgrounds, and cameras are only allowed based on the artist's discretion. Alcohol is sold at the grandstand, but guests will not be permitted to leave the venue with any alcohol. All events at Allentown Fairgrounds will be held rain or shine, and no re-admittance is allowed.
Allentown Fairgrounds Parking Information
Parking located onsite at the Allentown Fairgrounds is available for a small fee for everyone entering the grounds. Each vehicle should enter at Tunnel Gate 7 on Liberty Street.
Allentown Fairgrounds Gate Times
The Allentown Fairgrounds are open all day long for the fair, but admission to the grandstand depends on the artist's preference.
Allentown Fairgrounds Accessibility
The grandstand at Allentown Fairgrounds has accessible seating for those in need. Because it is a fairground, other accessibility options may be limited, but the venue will do its best to accommodate everyone. Contact the venue prior to attending the concert with any questions.
