Jennifer Lopez with Marc Anthony Concert Information
One of the greatest Latin pop stars Marc Anthony and his wife Jennifer Lopez have confirmed dates and venues as they are going to undertake their first ever concert tour together. The tour will start on September 29, 2007, in Atlantic City. According to the newly unveiled itinerary, the concert tour will hit fourteen cities before winding down at the beginning of November, 2007. The charming singer and actress Jennifer Lopez and Grammy-winning performer Marc Anthony, are going to perform separate sets of their own material during the performances, culminating with appearing for another set together. Each of them will perform songs in both English and their native Spanish, a nod to the huge cross-cultural popularity of both singers. One dollar from each ticket to their concerts sold will benefit Run for Something Better, which is a childhood fitness program that was created by the tour’s sponsor, ING, global financial services company. Fans will have the opportunity to donate in person at each venue. Jennifer Lopez released her first all-Spanish record, entitled "Como Ana una Mujer," in March, 2007. Marc Anthony's most recent studio release is the just-released soundtrack to the film titled "El Cantante," where the singer starred in, portraying a famous Puerto Rican singer Hector Lavoe. Jennifer Lopez co-starred in the movie as Lavoe's wife. The singers’ tour will mark the couple's 1st professional appearances together since the two performers were married three years ago. The outing is also Jennifer Lopez's 1st concert tour of any kind. Only the Atlantic City show on September 29 and an October 17 date in San Jose, California, are currently confirmed, with the remainder to be announced the following week, according to the promoters of the tour.More Pop Tickets
