A vital piece of the Manhattan Center, New York's Hammerstein Ballroom is one of the city's top mid-size concert venues. This former opera house boasts excellent acoustics in a visually striking auditorium that offers a variety of seating options. Its star-studded history includes appearances from Johnny Cash, Donna Summer, and Radiohead, and this year, Julian Casablancas will add to the venue's storied legacy during the November 25 concert.
Hammerstein Ballroom Seating Information
There are three levels of seating at the Hammerstein Ballroom: main floor, first balcony, and second balcony. For some concerts, one or all of these levels may offer only general admission, which will be notated as such on the Hammerstein Ballroom seating chart for Julian Casablancas.
For reserved seating, the main floor holds three sections. Section 1 lies to the left of the auditorium, Section 3 stands to the right, and Section 2 is directly in the center. Rows on the main floor begin with single letters (A-Z) near the stage and continue with double letters (AA-FF) towards the back. The first balcony level follows with Sections 101-105 along the rear of the auditorium. The final level, the second balcony, holds Sections 201-203. Each level also contains left and right boxes that stand along either side of the main auditorium.
