About KCRW's World Festival
The Los Angeles Philharmonic organization associates with KCRW for ninth successful year to show KCRW's World Music Festival at Hollywood Bowl. Carlinhos Brown returns to Hollywood Bowl after his thrilling debut concert in 1999 in support of his release in 2007, A Gente Ainda Nao Sonhou. Brown, who is a refreshing performer, mixes melody from his inhabitant Bahia with rock, soul, funk, pop and latin creating carnival-inducing music for masses. The show starts with reggae band Sierra Leone's Refugee All Stars of West Africa.
