Kings of Leon Background Information

Kings of Leon’s second album Aha Shake Heartbreak was released in the UK in the fall of 2004. “King of the Rodeo”, “Four Kicks”, and “The Bucket” were all released as singles. In the United States, the record was released in February 2005.

In the spring of 2006, it was announced that the band was back in the recording studio, working on their third release. The new album, entitled Because of the Times, was released on April 2, 2007 in the United Kingdom, and on April 3, in the US.

Currently, the band is working on tracks for their fourth album. The present line-up consists of Caleb Followill, Jared Followill, Nathan Followill, and Matthew Followill.
