Stirling Taking Talent on Road in 2013 North American Tour
In an announcement that epitomizes the power of YouTube in the 21st century, Hip Hop violinist Lindsey Stirling has announced that she is taking her act on the road with a North American Tour beginning this spring. The tour is announced to be in honor of her eponymous debut album, which debuted at No. 81 on the Billboard 200 chart and topped the Dance/Electronic Albums chart and Top Classical Albums chart when it was released back in September. The album includes the hit single, "Crystallize," which became Youtube’s 8th most-watched video of 2012 with 42 million views. Stirling’s 44-date journey is set to launch on February 5th at The Met in Pawtucket, RI, and then it will hit prime locations like Webster Hall in New York City (2/9), the House of Blues in New Orleans (2/27), The Vic in Chicago (3/9), and the Fonda Theatre in Los Angeles before concluding at The Marquee on April 5th in Tempe, AZ.
