Linkin Park Background Information

On March 6, 2007, it was announced that the band’s third studio album, titled Minutes to Midnight would be released worldwide on May 14, 2007 and in the US on May 15, 2007.

Linkin Park spent more that fourteen months in the recording studio and wrote more than a hundred song demos in the making of Minutes to Midnight. Originally, the musicians recorded seventeen tracks; however, only twelve of them appeared on the album.

Two new singles are known to be coming soon. “Given Up” is scheduled to release on August 6, 2007, and “Shadow of the Day” on October 8, 2007.
