With a three-day pass for Lollapalooza 2014, you can be on site for a whirlwind weekend of entertainment from the host of talented musicians that will perform on multiple stages at this Chicago mainstay from Aug. 1-3. On the first night of the festival, see sets from Eminem, Lorde, Zedd, Arctic Monkeys, and dozens more. The fun will continue on Saturday with acts like Foster the People, OutKast, Calvin Harris, and Krewella, while the Sunday headliners set to wrap up the three-day fest include The Avett Brothers, Skrillex, and Kings of Leon.

Lollapalooza Ticket Information

Lollapalooza three-day passes are issued as wristbands. Your wristband is non-transferrable and must be fastened securely to your wrist. If you remove or tamper with your wristband in any way, you may not be allowed inside the Lollapalooza gates.

Three-day passes may be issued as GA, VIP, or Platinum options. VIP passes offer access to special lounges, golf cart shuttles, viewing platforms, private bathrooms, catered food, and more. Platinum passes offer an even more luxurious experience, with air-conditioned hospitality areas, complimentary food and alcohol, private bathrooms, concierge hosts, more exclusive viewing platforms, artist lounge areas, and more.

Lollapalooza General Information

Do not bring large backpacks, cans, bottles, pets, skateboards, chairs, professional cameras or recording devices to Lollapalooza. No food and drink can be brought into the festival, but each guest is allowed to bring up to two factory-sealed bottles of water with up to a one liter capacity. Attendees will be permitted to bring hand-held umbrellas, strollers, empty plastic bottles, empty CamelBaks, binoculars, blankets, towels, and personal cameras to Grant Park. All sets will take place rain or shine. Children under the age of 10 will be admitted to Lollapalooza for free, but they must be accompanied by an adult with a valid ticket.

There also will be on-site lockers available to rent during the festival. Re-entry is only permitted so long as you get your wristband scanned at the gate before leaving. Attendees are only allowed to leave and re-enter five times on each separate day of the festival.

Lollapalooza Concessions Information

On site at Lollapalooza in 2014, Chow Town will be stocked with vendors from local Chicago restaurants. There also is a Lollapalooza Farmers Market that features locally sourced food options. In addition, there is sure to be standard festival options, like pizza, burgers, hot dogs, and more, in addition to vegan and vegetarian fare available from Aug. 1-3.

Lollapalooza Parking Information

There are many parking garages in downtown Chicago, but the closest parking is located in the underground Millennium Park garages, which are accessible via Michigan Ave. or Columbus Dr.

Chicago's transportation system also services Grant Park via several bus and train lines, and the Metra commuter rail system uses the Millennium and Van Buren Street stations near Grant Park. In addition, there will be bike racks available near the park by the box office. Locks will not be provided, so be sure to bring your own if you choose to bike to Lollapalooza.

Lollapalooza Hotel Information

Dozens of hotels and motels are located throughout Chicago, especially in the downtown area surrounding Grant Park. In addition, some apartments, condos, or homes may be available to rent for the duration of the weekend.

Lollapalooza Gate Times

On each day of the festival, gates are scheduled to open at 11 a.m. CST, though the time is always subject to change. There are two gates to the festival: one at Michigan and Congress, and a second located at Columbus and Monroe on the north side of Grant Park.

Lollapalooza Accessibility

The Millennium Park garages offer accessible spaces and elevators to reach ground level, but most public transportation options are also fully accessible, including the Jackson, Harold Washington Library, and Randolph/Wabash El stations. Both festival gates are equipped with designated accessible entrance lanes, but there will not be any golf carts or shuttle services on site to transport guests throughout the festival grounds.

Lollapalooza will book ASL interpreters for many major performances from Aug. 1-3, but the schedule will not be posted until closer to the festival launch. Be sure to secure a special wristband at the Access Center on site when you arrive if you have a hearing limitation and would like access to the viewing platform areas near the major stages.
