Marilyn Manson - The King of Horror is back!

The king of horror Marilyn Manson, and the famous trash-metallists Slayer started their summer 2007 North American tour. Bleeding Through was announced as opening act. The great tour that comprises twenty-five dates kicked off on July 25 in West Palm Beach (Florida). It will be finished on September 1 with a show in Selma (Texas).

The performer is touring in support of the upcoming studio album entitled Eat Me, Drink Me. The album hit shelves on June 5. This year Marilyn Manson is planning to release the movie called “Phantasmagoria: The Visions of Lewis Carroll”. It is based on the biography of the writer. Slayer continues to back their recent record “Christ Illusion,” released in 2006. It hit no. Five in the Billboard chart. Slayer’s composition “Eyes of the Insane” won Grammy 2007 award as Best Metal Performance. The record also marked the reunion of the group’s original lineup, including Tom Araya (on vocals and bass), Kerry King (on guitar), Jeff Hanneman (on guitar), and Dave Lombardo (on drums). The band reunited for the first time since 90’s "Seasons in the Abyss."

In August, the musicians will visit California (Irvine and San Diego), Arizona (Phoenix), New Mexico (Albuquerque), and Texas (Grand Prairie, Houston, and Selma).

The performer announced details of a vast Arena tour this December. The musicians will stop for 4 dates in the United Kingdom. Turbonegro was announced as the main support act during the jaunt, celebrating the release of the new record Eat Me, Drink Me. The 25-date outing will also stop in a couple of Canadian provinces.
