It’s been nearly 20 years since Nas dropped in on the hip hop game, and there’s not a single sign that he’s slowing down any time soon. In fact, the nearly 40-year-old hip hop legend is fresh off of a magnificent 2012 that saw him garner four Grammy nominations, including Best Rap Album and Best Rap Performance. The accolades are coming from on his latest album, “Life Is Good,” which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart, and just recently he announced that he’s currently working on his twelfth studio album. Thankfully for fans, the lyrical genius is also making stops around the country to light up venues with his incendiary rhyme skills.
On Friday, March 1st, Nas is set to appear at the Durham Performing Arts Center with a very special guest, DMX. The show is an exclusive, one-time concert that’s set to be hosted by Durham’s own 9th Wonder, who is a Grammy Award winning producer and DJ himself. Tickets for this show are on sale now.
