About Nelly
Nelly has been around delivering hit and hit for quite some time now. From his album Country Grammar in 2000 with “Ride Wit Me” and “Batter Up” to Nellyville in 2002 containing “Hot In Herre”, “Air Force Ones”, “Shake Ya Tailfeather” and a duet with Destinys Child singer Kelly Rowland titled “Dilemma”, Nelly’s first two albums are easily listened to from beginning to end and thus made him an instant and memorable success. His third and fourth albums Sweat and Suit, released at the same time in 2004, debuted at number one on Billboard. The albums were more R&B focused and even contained a single with Tim McGraw titled “Over and Over”. His latest album, Brass Knuckles, was released in September 2008. The album features collaborations with many artists including Ashanti, Akon, Fergie, Ciara, and Jermaine Dupri. Rumor has it that Nelly mentioned something about starting a group with Akon and Pharrell as well as collaborating with T.I. on an album. Nelly tickets for his current tour are nearly sold-out.
