Living legend Paul McCartney, best known for his work with The Beatles and Wings, will be performing his greatest hits to a crowd of roaring fans in the Big Easy at the Smoothie King Center on Oct. 11 (rescheduled from June 19). This concert marks an important stop on the Out There Tour, as it will be his first performance in New Orleans since 2002. McCartney will undoubtedly perform many of The Beatles' greatest hits mixed in with newer songs from Wings and his solo career.
Smoothie King Center Seating Information
The stage for this Oct. 11 concert will be positioned directly in front of Sections 118 and 119. Seating at the Floor Level is available in Sections A-D. The Smoothie King Center also offers seating throughout the 100 and 300 Levels all around the arena, though some seating may offer limited or obstructed views.
Smoothie King Center General Information
Prohibited items include bags larger than 12 inches x 12 inches, outside food and drink, video and audio recording devices, large banners, and noisemakers. Re-entry is not permitted during the Paul McCartney show. Small personal cameras can be used during the performance, but no recording of the Oct. 11 concert will be permitted.
Smoothie King Center Parking Information
Seven parking garages and two surface lots, located next to the arena and the Superdome, will be open for Paul McCartney fans for this Thursday night show. Any parking-related fees must generally be paid on site. Accessible spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis in Lot 3 and in all garages.
Smoothie King Center Gate Times
The four public entrances to the Smoothie King Center will open 60 to 90 minutes prior to the 8 p.m. CST concert as long as there are no unforeseen delays on Oct. 11.
