Making the rounds on its fall U.S. tour, Pearl Jam will finally visit Detroit's Joe Louis Arena on Oct. 16. The upcoming fall concert will mark the first time this pioneering grunge outfit has performed in the Motor City in eight years, and the wait will be well worth it as the band's set list is expected to draw from more than 20 years of alternative rock success. Fans will be able to hear powerful, career-making tracks like "Even Flow" and "Jeremy" along with more recent songs from the group's successful 2013 album, "Lightning Bolt."
Joe Louis Arena Seating Information
The Pearl Jam Detroit concert will feature a general admission Pit on the Joe Louis Arena floor, taking up a sizeable portion of the area immediately in front of the stage for fans who prefer a standing-room-only atmosphere. The Floor Level will also include several sections of reserved seating behind the GA Pit. Much more reserved seating can be found in the sections of the arena's elevated Lower and Upper Levels, which include Sections 101-128 and Sections 201-228, respectively. To accommodate more fans, many seating areas located behind the stage will be available, but many of these seats will not have a full view of the stage.
Joe Louis Arena General Information
Flash photography, video recorders, and professional cameras will be prohibited during the Pearl Jam performance. Joe Louis Arena also prohibits smoking, but there are generally designated smoking areas located outside the arena. The venue will be fully staffed during this Thursday night show, so you can find more assistance on site.
