Primus 3D Tour Blazing Trails in 2013
Primus was already known for pushing the limits of alternative rock, but now the San Francisco-based power trio is pioneering new territory on the 2013 Spring 3D Tour. The venture will include both solo concerts and stops at festivals, sending Primus around North America from May through July, playing two sets per night at solo shows. With the help of Quad Surround Sound and a special 3D screen that will project extraordinarily unique and psychedelic images to complement the songs, special 3D glasses will be given out to audience members prior to the show, allowing the 2013 Spring Tour to offer a fully immersive concert experience unlike any other.
Primus tickets are available now for the trek, which will begin on May 9 at the BottleRock Festival in Napa, Calif. The first 3D show will happen on May 10 at the Eureka Municipal Auditorium in Eureka, Calif., and from there, fans can check out the group at venues like the Rialto Theatre in Tucson, Ariz. (May 18), the Riviera Theatre in Chicago, Ill. (June 2), and Danforth Music Hall in Toronto, Ontario (June 8). The final shows of the tour are scheduled to take place at the All Good Festival in Thornville, Ohio (July 18-21). Primus tickets are also available for their stops at the Sasquatch! Music Festival in Quincy, Wash. (May 26), and Mountain Jam Festival in Hunter, N.Y. (June 6).
