Reba McEntire - The legend returns to the road.

Grammy award winning American singer and country music performer Reba Nell McEntire is often referred to as "The Queen of Country Music." She is famous for her lively stage performances and pop-tinged ballads. The singer has released thirty-one albums, with almost fifty million records sold worldwide.

In spring 2005, the singer returned to the musical theater, if only for one night. In another great piece of inspired casting, Reba Nell McEntire portrayed the "cock-eyed optimist" from Arkansas, Ensign Nellie Forbush, in a concert version of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s South Pacific staged at Carnegie Hall. The all-star production was filmed for a PBS special on the network’s Great Performances series and recorded for an album; both of them were released in 2006.

In late 2005, the artist released Reba #1’s. Along with 2 new tracks, the two-disc collection featured every Reba’s singles that had ever reached number One on any United States country music chart. The total number of 33 includes 22 that reached number One on Billboard Hot Country Songs chart; other compositions topped the country charts of Radio & Records or of the Cash Box or Gavin Report charts.

In 2006, the singer started a multi-week show stint at the Las Vegas Hitlon with REBA: Key to the Heart. In fall 2006, Reba became the first recipient of a star on the Music City Walk of Fame in downtown Nashville. McEntire was honored along side the famous Ronnie Milsap, Roy Orbison, and many others. She was also honored by CMT as the first recipient of the CMT Giant honor. In February 2007, the performer saw the end of her hit TV sitcom, entitled Reba, after 6 successful seasons. The same month, she performed together with Kelly Clarkson for a taping of a future installment of CMT Crossroads. Recently, the Billboard Magazine called her Woman of the Year.
