Robert Cray was among musicians like Stevie Ray Vaughan and George Thorogood, who got wider radio airplay and MTV video exposure during the end of ‘80s. By the time the musician was 20, Robert had already seen his heroes, including Albert Collins, Freddie King, and Muddy Waters in concert. It was then when he decided to organize his own music band. After a couple of years of regional success, Robert was signed to Mercury Records.
