Rockstar Energy Mayhem Festival Background Information

Rockstar Energy Mayhem Festival is a famous heavy metal event that would take place in the months of July and august. It is slated to be an annual event and there would be close to 40 hard metal bands that would perform in the festival. The official sponsors for the mayhem would be Rockstar energy drink in the first year. The other sponsors of the event are Hot Topic, The Dingstore.com and Jagermeister. The tour is being conducted by Kevin Lyman. The festival will take place at many places throughout the country. These include locations in Washington, California, Arizona, Missouri, Texas, Florida, New York, Ohio and many other states.

The confirmed Main stage participants in the festival are: Disturbed, Slipknot, Mastodon and Dragon Force. For the Jagermister second stage the participants are: 36 crazyfists, Five finger death punch, Jagermister Battle of the bands winner, Airbourne and Sevendust. For the third stage the performing artists are: Walls of Jericho, The Red Chord, Suicide silence, Black tide and Machine Head.

Some of the bands like Disturbed, Slipknot, Sevendust would use the festival to promote their latest releases. Slipknot's new album is slated for release in August while the new album of Disturbed, "indestructible" is to be released in May. Sevendust would promote "Chapter VII: Hope and sorrow" which is to be released in April. 36 Crazyfists has the album "The tide and its takers" on its anvil. The audience would be spoilt for choice in the festival. They would have the option of taking part in festival activities including playing the latest video games, getting autographs of their favorite artists and a plethora of interactive sessions.
