After deciding to spend more time on production and promotions for his latest album, Rod Stewart announced that the North American leg of his 2013 Live the Life Tour will be pushed back to the fall. He will return to the U.S. on Oct. 17 to perform at the Greensboro Coliseum Complex in Greensboro, N.C. Through the rest of the year, the Rock and Roll Hall of Famer plans to visit seven more American cities: Atlanta (Oct. 19), Chicago (Oct. 24), Detroit (Oct. 26), Boston (Dec. 4), Newark, N.J. (Dec. 7), New York (Dec. 9), and Philadelphia (Dec. 11). For the last two concerts on the continent, the Rod Stewart tour will travel north to Montreal’s Bell Centre (Dec. 14), before completing the run at Toronto’s Air Canada Centre the following day.
If you can’t wait for the tour to start in October, Stewart will also be spending the summer completing a residency at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas from July 20-Aug. 4. The upcoming performances are all in support of the British singer’s latest release, “Time,” his first album of original material in nearly 20 years.
