After winning the 10th season of "American Idol" and seeing his debut studio album, “Clear as Day,” become certified platinum, it was only a matter of time before Scotty McCreery hit the road on his first headlining tour. But with the recently announced 2013 “The Weekend Roadtrip Tour,” the country crooner is carving his own path, as he will only hold shows on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights. There are 16 pit stops on this unique trek, and the bus will rev up its engines for the first show at Sands Bethlehem Event Center in Bethlehem, PA, on Valentine’s Day, and then he’ll travel over the country until May. In between, the 19-year old sensation will make stops at places like the Golden Nugget in Atlantic City (2/16), the Uptown Theater in Kansas City (3/9), and (4/18) the Palace Theatre in Albany (4/18). The final performance will come on May 12th at the Mayo Performing Arts Center in Morristown, NJ.
