The Eagles On Tour

2007’s Long Road Out of Eden brought The Eagles back to music charts since 1979. Right away the album reached number one in the U.S., U.K., Australia, New Zealand, Netherlands, and Norway. It is their third album to be certified seven times platinum. Sadly, Don Henley has stated in an interview with CNN that this is the last Eagles album they will make. In February 2008, they won their fifth Grammy Award for “Best Country Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal” for “How Long”, the first single. The second single “Busy Being Fabulous” reached number 30 on the U.S. Billboard Hot Country Songs chart and number 18 on the U.S. Billboard Hot Adult Contemporary chart. The albums release is only available on the bands website, or in Wal-Mart, and Sam’s Club until October 30, 2008. They are currently on tour promoting this latest and last album. The current members of the Eagles are: Glenn Frey (vocals, guitars, keyboards, synthesizers, harmonica), Don Henley (vocals, drums, percussion, guitar, synthesizer), Joe Walsh (guitars, vocals, keyboards, synthesizers), and Timothy B. Schmidt (bass, vocals).
