Originally constructed as a circular stage located in the middle of an alfalfa field in 1957, the Oakdale Theatre has since transformed into a full-fledged music venue now serving as a destination for fans looking to catch a glimpse of The Piano Guys on Wed, December 10, 2014.
Oakdale Theatre Seating Information
Most of the events held at the Oakdale Theatre offer reserved seating with a capacity of roughly 5,000. Seating begins with Section 100 on the far right side of the stage, and continues to Section 104 on the left of the stage with Section 102 directly in front of the stage. The next available seating is the 200 level, which starts with Section 200 on the far right and spans to Section 210 on the far left. In some cases, there will be a general admission pit with the front rows of the theatre removed. Any concert that is fully general admission will be noted as such on this page.
The upper level starts with the Loge section, and is labeled Sections 1-7. The Balcony follows, and consists of Sections 300-303 at the rear of the venue.
Oakdale Theatre General Information
Small, personal cameras are typically permitted inside the venue, but flash photography, video, and cameras with a removable lens are not. Other prohibited items include laser pointers, large bags, and outside food and drink. The facility is a smoke-free zone, and all smokers must use the designated area outside of the lobby.

Parking is located on site at the Oakdale Theatre, and fees are usually included in the ticket price. If you opt to have Premier Parking for an additional cost, it is located closest to the main entrance of the venue. For anyone interested in public transportation, the Wallingford Transit District bus routes usually provide access to the Oakdale Theatre for concerts. Be sure to check the schedule prior to attending the Wednesday show to verify routes and times.
Oakdale Theatre Gate Times
Doors generally open 1-2 hours prior to the start of concerts. Guests are advised to arrive early to secure a spot for any general admission seating.
Oakdale Theatre Accessibility
Accessible parking is located in front of the theater for those with a state-issued placard, sticker or license plate. Inside the venue, all levels of the Oakdale Theatre are accessible, with additional reserved seating for those with visual, hearing, or mobility impairments. Elevators are also on the premises to assist with accessibility while attending the performance by The Piano Guys.
