Three Days Grace is a 4 member hard rock band from Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The band includes members Brad Walst, Barry Stock, Neil Sanderson, and Adam Gontier. Barry Stock joined the band in after the release of their first album 2003 to accompany singer Adam Gontier on guitar. The bands first album, Three Days Grace, was very successful in the United States as well as Canada. The self titled album included the #1 US hits “I Hate (Everything About You)” as well as “Just Like You”, with the latter becoming their first #1 hit in Canada. 2004 was an exciting year for the band when their producer Gavin Brown won a Juno Award for his production on the album and they were nominated at the Juno Awards in the New Group of the Year category. Shortly after losing the Group of the Year Award lead singer Adam Gontier was checked into a rehabilitation center in Toronto for an addiction to Oxycontin. It was in this same rehab center that many of the songs for the bands second album were written.
