Even after the sudden departure of their lead singer, Adam Gontier, Three Days Grace isn’t missing a beat. The Canadian rock trio has tapped bassist Brad Walst’s brother, Matt, who is also the lead singer of My Darkest Days, to handle the lead vocals, so the Three Days Grace 2013 tour is continuing on in full swing. The band recently added a new leg to the current tour, which began in February and has the group sharing the bill with fellow rockers, Shinedown and P.O.D. Three Days Grace will finish the co-headlining stint on March 30 at Fargodome in Fargo, N.D., then they’ll begin the new leg as the sole headliners on April 17 at the State Theatre in Portland, Maine. They’ll play a total of 11 additional shows before finishing on May 17 at Wedgewood Entertainment Center in Youngstown, Ohio.
Three Days Grace is touring in support of their latest studio effort, “Transit of Venus,” and they’re set to play at many of the finest clubs and amphitheatres throughout the country. Over the course of the new leg, they’ll stop at venues like the House of Blues in Atlantic City, N.J., on April 21, The Masquerade in Atlanta, Ga., on May 1, and the Palladium Ballroom in Dallas on May 10. P.O.D. is sure to make an appearance at the Concrete Street Amphitheater in Corpus Christi, Texas, on May 7, but their participation in the remainder of the new leg is yet to be confirmed. Either way, this power trio always puts on a great show, so purchase Three Days Grace tickets today.
