House of Blues Boston Tickets

Go back to the roots of the House of Blues network at this Boston edition of the popular music hall franchise. Though the original House of Blues was founded in nearby Cambridge, Mass., this modern location can house over 2,400 attendees--more than 10 times the capacity of the original location. Prepare for your visit to see Yellowcard perform on Monday, November 7 with the comprehensive House of Blues Boston guide below for this elaborate venue.

House of Blues Boston Seating Information

The House of Blues Boston is a versatile concert venue with four levels of seating options. For the most part, the layout will remain the same for all concerts, but be sure to check the House of Blues Boston seating chart on this page for Yellowcard. The main floor closest to the stage is typically general admission only. The next level up, the mezzanine, is also usually general admission with only standing room available. The lower balcony of the House of Blues Boston holds VIP seating options, which are available at most performances. On the seating chart, these options are designated as either "VIP Box" or "VIP Balcony." The upper balcony offers more general admission, listed as Upper Standing Room Only. There is also a section of reserved stadium-style seating in this upper balcony level.

House of Blues Boston General Information

For most concerts, large bags, backpacks, and outside food and drink are prohibited. Personal cameras may be allowed, but professional cameras, recording devices, and flash photography are not permitted.

Most concerts are all ages, but it is best to double check with the box office for details regarding the performance by Yellowcard. When children are allowed, all ages still need a ticket to enter the theater.

House of Blues Boston Concessions

The House of Blues Boston restaurant is attached to the venue and offers a variety of sandwiches, burgers, and entrees--many of which pay tribute to the cuisine of the South, the birthplace of blues music. There are also plenty of standard American options--like wings, wraps, and pizza--alongside some vegetarian-friendly offerings and a full bar. The restaurant typically will open at 4 p.m. ET on the day of a show.

Inside the concert hall, there are fully stocked bars with a variety of drink options available.

House of Blues Boston Parking Information

As the venue is located just across the street from Fenway Park, there are several parking structures and lots in the area where you can park for a fee during House of Blues concerts. If there are any concurrent events--like a Red Sox game or a concert--at Fenway Park, keep in mind these parking spaces may fill up more quickly than usual.

The venue is also accessible from the Green Line's Kenmore Station stop on the MBTA. Kenmore Station is about a five minute walk from the House of Blues Boston.

House of Blues Boston Gate Times

Doors at House of Blues Boston concerts typically open one hour prior to the concert start time.

House of Blues Boston Accessibility

House of Blues Boston is an accessible venue; however, the box office advises guests who need assistance to arrive 30 minutes before doors open to receive adequate accommodations. Guests are also encouraged to call ahead if any special arrangements are needed. The venue does not have its own parking structure, but the House of Blues can be reached via the fully accessible Kenmore Station stop on the Green Line. Parking garages in the area may also have accessible spaces available on a first-come, first-served basis. Again, be aware that these may fill quickly if an event is happening at the nearby Fenway Park on 11/7/2016.
