Hampton handles Giants

Mike Hampton looked like his oldself Tuesday night as the Atlanta Braves beat the San Francisco Giants 11-4.  Hampton has not won a game in almost three years, mostly because of injury issues.  Hampton cruised through seven innings allowing just four hits, two runs and one walk while striking out two. He also had an RBi double as he teammates provided him with more than enough run support.  The Braves had 14 hits as a team in which every Atlanta starter had at least one hit.  Seven different Braves had an RBI on the night as Atlanta scored in bunches with three runs in the 5th and 7th innings and five runs in the 9th.  The Braves will look to take the series finale Wednesday when they take on the Giants.
