Chris Waters shines in MLB debut

Chris Waters made his Major League debut Tuesday night, and it resulted in a 3-0 win over the Los Angeles Angels. Waters pitched eight innings allowing just one hit and three walks while striking out three. The Baltimore Orioles gave Waters all the support he needed in the first inning by scoring two runs on a Nick Markakis RBI double and Melvin Mora RBI single.  The O's would tack on another run in the 7th inning as Luke Scott hit his 19th home run of the year.  The Angels hold the best record in baseball so for Waters to make his debut against them and pitch the way he did is truly special. George Sherrill closed it out for Baltimore as he allowed just one hit on his way to his 31st save of the year.  The Orioles will look to beat the Angels and take the series in the finale on Wednesday.
