Cubs go 7-0 on homestand, continue to roll

The Chicago Cubs are unstoppable; they proved why when they finished their perfect homestand Sunday with a 5-3 victory over the Colorado Rockies Sunday. It was their 7th win in a row and they continue to have the best record in baseball. Support came from several sources Sunday, as new Cub Jim Edmonds had 2 hits and 2 RBI, Alfonso Soriano hit his 13th home run of the year and Aramis Ramirez had 3 hits. Kerry Wood closed it out yet again for his 14th save of the year. The Cubs will put their best record on the line in San Diego on Monday night.
