White Sox streak ends at 7

The Chicago White Sox 7 game winning streak came to an end Tuesday, as they fell 6-4 to the Detroit Tigers. After going ahead 2-0 in the 3rd inning, the Sox fell behind and could not quite seem to rally past the Tigers. Jose Contreras had one of his worst outings of the season as he pitching 6 innings allowing 13 hits and 6 earned runs, taking his 4th loss of the season. The White Sox continued their hot hitting, having 12 hits of their own with Jim Thome hitting his 13th home run of the year. The White Sox look to get back on track Wednesday against the Tigers.
