The Colorado Rockies managed to come back and beat the Washington Nationals 8-2 Tuesday night. John Lannan seemed to have complete control of the Rockies until pinch hitter Ian Stewart hit a 2-run homer to tie the game in the 7th inning. Colorado then went on to explode in the 8th inning as they scored six runs to put the game away and come out on top. Jorge De La Rosa pitched seven innings allowing six hits, two runs and two walks while striking out six but received a no decision. Manny Corpas picked up the win as he pitched a scoreless 8th inning. These teams will play Wednesday night in game three of the four game series.
