Nate Robertson pitched 6 1/3 solid innings allowing 8 hits and 3 earned runs, while striking out four. The Tigers put themselves in an early hole going down 2-0 in the 3rd, but scored in the next 4 innings to take the lead for good. Detroit smacked 14 total hits, with Miguel Cabrera and Placido Polanco having 3 hits apiece. Todd Jones closed it out for the Tigers, earning his 11th save of the season.
