The Detroit Tigers fell behind early Tuesday night, but they recovered and went on the beat the Cleveland Indians 9-2. After going down 2-0 in the 1st inning, Detroit settled down and put together a four run 3rd, never looking back. Justin Verlander shook off a rough first inning, going 7 innings allowing just 2 hits and runs while striking out 7. Miguel Cabrera led the charge with a 4 hit night including a pair of home runs. Marcus Thames and Ivan Rodriguez also homered for Detroit as they handed the Indians their 9th straight loss. The Tigers had 13 hits as a team and will look to keep it going as they play the 2nd game of the short 2 game series Wednesday night against the Indians.
