The Florida Marlins wasted no time Tuesday night, hitting a pair of home runs in the 1st inning and jumping to a 3-0 lead. Hanley Ramirez led off with his 15th home run of the year, and Jorge Cantu added a two run blast one batter later. Mike Jacobs topped off the Marlins scoring a two run homer of his own in the 5th inning. The Phillies kept edging closer but could not complete the comeback. Ricky Nolasco gave the Marlins six strong innings allowing only 4 hits and 3 earned runs, while walking 1 and striking out 3. It was Nolasco’s sixth win of the year, while Kevin Gregg picked up his 12th save of the year.
