The Seattle Mariners withheld a Florida Marlins comeback attempt Tuesday night, going on to win 5-4. The Mariners went ahead early with 2 runs in the first inning; they later added 3 runs going ahead 5-1 through five innings. Florida mounted a comeback with 3 runs in the next two innings making in a 1 run game. However they could not complete the comeback as they failed to score in the final 2 innings. Felix Hernandez got the win for Seattle and Scott Olsen took the loss for the Marlins. Brandon Morrow picked up his 2nd save of the year with a perfect 9th inning.
