The Florida Marlins got an unpleasant sureprise Tuesday night as they got whooped 10-1 by the San Diego Padres. Things seemed off to a good start when Jeremy Hermida hit is 9th home run of the year in the top of the first inning. But the Padres stormed right back, scoring 4 runs of their own in the bottom half of the inning and never looking back, adding another 5 in the 6th inning. Marlins pitching had a rough night as they allowed 13 hits and 8 earned runs. Andrew Miller took the loss as his is now 5-8 on the year. Florida will look to take the series Wednesday in the series finale with the Padres.
