The Florida Marlins fell to the New York Mets Tuesday night by a score of 4-1. Florida fell behind in the first inning, but tied the game in the bottom half on back to back doubles from Jorge Cantu and Josh Willingham. However the Marlins couldn't get anything going after that, as the Mets broke the tie in the 6th inning and then added two more insurance runs in the 8th inning. Scott Olsen took the loss as he pitched 5 2/3rds innings allowing 6 hits 2 runs and 2 walks while striking out 5. Florida only had six hits as a team and fell behind the Mets 2 games in the NL East. The Marlins will look to gain ground and take the series as they face off against the Mets in the series finale Wednesday night.
