The Houston Astros and Pittsburgh Pirates endured two rain delays totaling over 3 hours Tuesday night. AFter the long wait, it was the Pirates who managed a two out 3 run rally in the bottom of the 8th inning to beat the Astros 4-3. After Houston reliever Doug Brocail got 2 outs in the 8th inning, he gave up a solo shot to Adam Laroche, then let the next 3 batters reach base. Nate McLouth then hit a 2 run single to cap off the scoring for the night. Hunter Pence and Carlos Lee homered for Houston, but it wasn't enough as the Astros took their third straight tough loss in a row. Houston will look to bounce back Wednesday night in the series finale.
