The Kansas City Royals lost a heartbreaker Tuesday night, as they took part in a wild game against the White Sox. Kansas City watched a 2 run lead disappear in the 8th inning, and after the White Sox went ahead 7-5 in the top of the 11th, the Royals answered with 2 runs of their own in the bottom half. The Royals suffered the loss in the top of the 13th inning after Orlando Cabrera doubled in Alexei Ramirez or Kansas City reliever Robinson Tejada who suffered the loss. The game lasted 4 hours and 20 minutes in which the Royals were hit with the tough loss. Both teams had their hitting shoes on as they combined for 35 hits. The Royals will look to get even Wednesday night when they take on the White Sox in the second game of the 3 game set.
