Royals complete sweep of Athletics

The Kansas City Royals completed their sweep of the Oakland Athletics Wednesday as they went on to win 4-3 in 10 innings. The Royals were able to come out with a victory after some early mistakes, including two missed pop ups.  Oakland struck first as they got a pair of RBI singles to go ahead 2-0.  Kansas City answered with two runs of their own to tie the game at 2.  After both teams exchanged runs in the 6th and 7th innings, the game remained tied for the following two innings.  It was Jose Guillen who was the hero as he hit a sacrifice fly in the 10th inning that would prove to be the game winner.  Joakin Soria pitched a perfect bottom half to earn his 30th save of the year.
