The Los Angeles Dodgers put a stop to their five game losing streak Tuesday night, as they edged the Cincinnati Reds 3-1. Chad Billingsley gave the Dodgers exactly what they needed, as he pitched 6 1/3 innings allowing only 5 hits, 3 walks and 1 run while striking out 9. Los Angeles got 3 hits from Jeff Kent who also added an RBI. Juan Pierre and Russell Martin had the other runs batted in for the Dodgers. Joe Beimel came in and worked out of a bases loaded jam allowing only one run. Takashi Saito closed it out for the Dodgers with his 9th save of the season.
