The Los Angeles Dodgers did not have an answer for Ubaldo Jimenez as the Colorado Rockies beat them 10-1 Tuesday night. Ubaldo Jimenez pitched a near shutout but would settle for his first career complete game as he allowed a home run to Matt Kemp in the top of the 9th inning. The Dodgers managed just 4 hits against Jimenez as they fell behind early and could not stop the Dodgers on offense or defense. Clayton Kershaw got rocked as he lasted just 3 innings allowing 10 hits, 3 walks and 5 earned runs. The Dodger's bullpen was not much better as they were shelled for 8 hits and 5 runs through 5 innings of relief work. Los Angeles will look to capture the rubber match Wednesday as they take on the Rockies in the series finale.
