The Los Angeles Dodgers made a great comeback Tuesday night, only to lose in the 11th inning 6-4 to the St. Louis Cardinals. Trailing by four runs heading into the top of the 9th inning, Los Angeles rallied to tie the game 4-4. The Dodgers started the rally with a leadoff home run from Andruw Jones off Ron Villone. Jason Isringhausen then came in and only managed to get one of the six batters he faced out. Casey Blake then hit a sacrifice fly off Ryan Franklin to tie things up. However, the story would not have a happy ending for the Dodgers as they failed to score in the extra innings, and watched Ryan Ludwick hit a game winning 2-run blast. Los Angeles will look to even the series when they take on the Cardinals on Wednesday night.
