The Dodgers look like they could win the National League West again. The team has made some impressive changes in the offseason. After long negotiations, they were able to keep Manny Ramirez in left field for another year. The additional threat of Loney, Kemp, and Ethier became known throughout the MLB in the playoffs last year as the main axes of an impressive batting order. Meanwhile, the two catchers, Brad Ausmus and Russell Martin add some extra power to that lineup. On the mound, Chad Billingsley will continue to improve as the Dodgers’ ace, hopefully beating his 16-10 record from 2008. The other starting pitchers are young, but they have a lot of energy and are expected to hold down the fort decently this year.
