Los Angeles Dodgers are tied for 2nd in their division

After a quite successful season last year (first in the West Division of the National League, but lost NLDS to New York Mets, 0-3), the franchise has been making some changes to the rooster to improve the result and to win the World Series this year (for the first time since 1988).

urrently, the team is second in their division with the high .571 (40 wins versus 40 losses). The Dodgers are 22 – 14 at home and 18 0 16 on the road (as of June 20, 2007).

n May 15, 2007, the Dodgers recalled left-handed pitcher Hong-Chih Kuo from Triple-A Las Vegas and designated infielder Wilson Valdez for assignment. On May 22, the team recalled Tony Abreu from Triple-A Las Vegas. Right-handed pitcher Hong-Chih Kuo was optioned the same day. On May 25, Infielder Wilson Valdez was sent outright to Triple-A Las Vegas.

n June 1, 2007, the franchise recalled left-handed pitcher Hong-Chih Kuo from Triple-A Las Vegas and optioned third baseman Andy LaRoche to Las Vegas. On June 5, right-handed pitcher Eric Hull was optioned to Triple-A Las Vegas. On June 10, the Dodgers designated outfielder Brady Clark for assignment and recalled infielder James Loney from Triple-A Las Vegas.
