The Milwaukee Brewers got 2 home runs from J.J. Hardy Tuesday night as they went on to beat the Arizona Diamondbacks 8-6. Hardy connected twice off of starter Randy Johnson who was beat around allowing 7 runs. Milwaukee had 10 hits as a team with several other players contributing to the shelling of Johnson. The Brewers jumped ahead early scoring 6 runs in the first two innings and although Arizona cut the gap to 2 runs at one point, Milwaukee was able to hold on for the win. Jeff Suppan got the win although he was tagged for 9 hits and 5 earned runs and Salomon Torres pitched a perfect 9th inning for his 14th save of the season.
